Dear Brother in Blue,
I hope this letter finds you well. I want to remind you that no matter what circumstances you find yourself in, God is still with you. He sees you and He cares for you. In fact, He has a special place in His heart for the broken and the hurting. Isaiah 61:1 says “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
You may feel like your life is in shambles and that everything is falling apart, but God can take the pieces of your broken heart and use them for His glory. In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul talks about a weakness that God has given him, but he also says that when he is weak, then He is strong. It is through our weaknesses that God’s strength is made perfect.
I want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the one who can heal your broken heart and make all things new. He has a plan for your life, and even though you may be in prison, He can still use you to bring hope and light to those around you. Remember that God is sovereign and He is in control. He will never leave you or forsake you. We are praying for you.
With Brotherly Love and Encouragement,
